Augmented Reality for Manufacturing Business Demonstration Project

Main Street Assembly led a full AR demonstration project with manufacturing businesses in multiple regions throughout the United States. We introduced an Augmented Reality solution that allowed the businesses to document existing manufacturing processes throughout various business departments and use the AI functionality to train a broad spectrum of employees with varying experience levels that ranged from veteran, supervisory lead to new hires. The project led to stronger employee engagement, strengthened product quality, and higher productivity metrics for the businesses, as well as broke down language barriers between frontline employees and supervisors, paving the way for more worker mobility and opportunities. The small businesses unanimously reported that they would continue to use AR and other immersive learning technologies to train employees.
