Virtual Reality (VR) for Small Business Demonstration Project

Main Street Assembly led the effort to recruit small businesses operating in multiple regions across the country in the manufacturing, healthcare, professional services and hospitality industries to adopt VR headsets and solutions for employee training through partnerships with small business intermediaries, i.e. Chambers of Commerce, SBDCs, MEPs, Economic Development Corporations. We also served as a key advisor and co-implementer on all components of the demonstration project, including business goal setting and ROI identification, onboarding, technology adoption and setup, training, scaling strategies and off-boarding, as well as qualitative and quantitative data collection and community building efforts. Outcomes of the pilot included stronger employee retention, greater employee satisfaction and confidence and better overall business performance.
